FAQ

When is the Vikinglotto draw?
Vikinglotto is called a Nordic lottery because the draws take place in Norway. They are organized by the Norwegian national lottery company Norsk Tipping. The draw can be watched on LTV1 every Wednesday at 21:05 in the Latvian Lotto draw program, as well as on the Vikinglotto YouTube channel.

How many numbers do you need to guess to win?
You need to guess at least 3 numbers, but Vikinglotto has 8 prize groups. The more numbers you guess, the bigger the prize you will win! If you guess all the numbers and the Viking number, you will win the main prize of the draw: a sum of 3 to 25 million euros. The main prize of each draw is variable and the current prize prediction can be seen at the top of the page.
-
How and when will I receive my winnings if my ticket wins?
Winnings under 2,000 euros are automatically transferred to the account you have specified in your profile for receiving winnings – if you have selected a game account to receive winnings, you will receive the winnings immediately after the draw, but if you have selected a bank account to receive winnings, the winnings will be transferred the next business day. If the winnings are between 2,000 euros and 10,000 euros, you will need to fill out a customer research questionnaire before receiving the winnings, and the winnings will be transferred within three business days after filling out the questionnaire. If you win over 10,000 euros, you will need to collect the winnings in person at the Latvian Lotto office, Meistaru Street 19, Riga. If a Vikinglotto ticket participates in multiple draws, you will be able to claim and receive your winnings once the ticket has participated in all draws for which it was purchased.
-
What are Vikinglotto side games?
In Latvia, Vikinglotto side games are organized by Latvijas Loto, so participants from Latvia have a unique opportunity to win valuable prizes. To participate in the side game, you must register your Vikinglotto ticket for participation, which meets the rules of the side game. Both winning and losing tickets can be registered for the side game.
-
What is a Vikinglotto variant?
One Vikinglotto variant is one combination of numbers - 6 numbers and 1 Viking number. You can choose from 1 to 8 variants in one ticket. The price of each Vikinglotto variant is one euro.
-
What does participation in several Vikinglotto draws with one ticket mean?
When buying a Vikinglotto ticket, you can mark how many Vikinglotto draws you want to participate in. The Vikinglotto draw takes place once a week, so the number of draws you mark is the number of weeks in a row that the Vikinglotto ticket you purchased will participate in. If you purchase a ticket for several draws, you will receive your winnings when the ticket has participated in all the draws for which it was purchased. For example, if you buy a Vikinglotto ticket for two draws and win in the first draw, you will receive your winnings when the ticket has participated in both draws.

How to play the Vikinglotto system game?
The system game is an opportunity to play with many combinations of numbers without spending time marking Vikinglotto variants. When playing this way, you can mark more than 6 numbers and 1 number in one variant. What does this mean? For example, by marking 9 numbers and 2 Viking numbers in one variant, you will get 168 combinations of numbers and Viking numbers (each combination will consist of 6 numbers and 1 Viking number). To play the system game, select the ticket type Play with your own numbers. Please note that it is not possible to play a system game in one variant on one ticket, but not play a system game in the other, so if you mark that you want to play a system game, the number of selected numbers/Viking numbers will have to be marked in all ticket variants.
